Cycling Quest Greece – Participant Disclaimer & Waiver of Liability

Please read carefully. By participating in any tour operated by Cycling Quest Greece, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that road cycling involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury
• Accidents involving other cyclists, vehicles, or road conditions
• Weather-related hazards
• Mechanical failures
• Fatigue, dehydration, heat exhaustion

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.

2. Health & Fitness Responsibility

I certify that:

• I am physically fit to participate in a cycling tour.
• I have no medical condition that would endanger myself or others.
• I will inform Cycling Quest Greece of any relevant medical conditions or allergies.
• I will follow all instructions provided by tour guides and staff.

3. Equipment Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for:

• The proper use of any equipment provided to me
• The condition and safety of my personal bike and gear
• Reporting any mechanical issues immediately

Cycling Quest Greece is not liable for loss or damage caused by participant negligence.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and hold harmless Cycling Quest Greece, its owners, staff, guides, contractors, and partners from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of:

• Injury or death
• Damage or loss of personal property
• Accidents or incidents during the tour
• Delays, weather conditions, or factors outside the company’s control

This waiver applies whether the incident occurs before, during, or after the tour.

5. Compliance & Safety

I agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions
• Wear a helmet at all times
• Respect traffic laws
• Cycle responsibly and considerately

Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.

6. Insurance

I acknowledge that:

Cycling Quest Greece does not provide medical or travel insurance.

I am responsible for securing appropriate travel, medical, and personal accident insurance.

7. Photography & Media

I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the tour and used for promotional purposes unless I expressly opt out in writing before the tour.
